When children start going off alone to explore the neighbourhood on their balance bikes, bicycles, skateboards, inline skates and scooters, there is plenty of action in store. All the better then if young riders have the best possible protection. The UVEX hlmt 4 is a hard-shell helmet inspired by the dirt bike scene with a stylish design. Extremely impact resistant on the outside, shock-absorbing on the inside and thanks to the 3D IAS size adjustment system, it fits every head shape. Ten large ventilation openings prevent hot heads overheating. And thanks to the monomatic-closure system, its childs play to open and close with just one hand.

Technology
Inmould shell - Protective EPS material is foamed directly into the polycarbonate shell. This technology allows to create a lightweight helmet with highest impact resistance. Perfect fusion of EPS inner layer and polycarbonate outer layer. EPS is a material, which contains microscopic air chambers. They effectively absorb the impact forces created in a fall.
BASIC PADS - Interior features significantly affect a helmets comfort. Hook and loop fasteners allow easy removal for washing.
MONOMATIC - Multi-stage and anatomically shaped uvexs monomatic comfort closure opens and closes at the touch of a button, with just one hand. The chin strap always sits perfectly.
FAS straps - Fast Adapting System webbing can be easily and continuously tailored to your exact head shape. The helmet stays securely on the head in all situations and the webbing straps are always in the best position. Y-divider provides individual adjustment options - and a secure, comfortable fit.
IAS - The uvex IAS adjustment system allows accurate, individual adjustment of the helmet to the head circumference just with one hand.

Please measure your head circumference to get the right helmet size. Recommended to measure with a measuring tape or a rope about 1.5cm above the ears.
